Semenovich formed a one-season alliance along with Roman Kostomarov in 1999 when the pair's relationship ended. Kostomarov was her partner in the year 2000, and they took home the bronze medal of Russia at the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships. She was born in Moscow on the 1st of March 1980 to Russian economist Tatyana Dimitrievna, and her family that included Gregory T., the director of a fur business. As a child she was admitted to the hospital for six months before being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The skating career he had together with Denis Samokhin was what made him famous. They took part in the Junior World Championships in two consecutive years. They were placed eighth in 1993, and seventh in 1994. In the short time they worked together, Maxim Kachanov, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games of 1994. Then in 1995 she teamed with Vladimir Fedorov. They were equally successful as a team, winning the Finlandia Trophy two times and participating in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together, they accomplished more but the apex of their collaboration was when they placed 15th at the 1998 World Championships.
